Angelo Theodosiou is in jail, charged with DUI, following a golf cart crash in Nocatee, Florida on Sunday. His wife,Christina,died after falling from the cart and suffering a head injury. The St. Johns County SheriffS Office reports Theodosiou showed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol.

The crash occurred in the Nocatee community, a rapidly growing residential area in St. Johns County. According to the Sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m.Sunday evening. Investigators determined that Angelo Theodosiou was operating the golf cart when it crashed, causing Christina Theodosiou to be ejected.She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Angelo Theodosiou, 42, was arrested at the scene and booked into the St. johns County Jail. He is being held on charges of DUI manslaughter and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
