The Seoul AI Robot Show, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, drew participation from 330 companies across 130 cities and 71 countries.Now Robotics distinguished itself as the sole recipient of an award within the robot category, highlighting the unique impact of its innovations. Over 60,000 attendees experienced the cutting-edge technologies on display from September 30 to October 2 at the COEX convention center in Seoul.

Now Robotics showcased a citizen-participatory robot experiance program alongside its latest advancements in articulated robots and multi-gripper technology.A key attraction was the presentation of the ‘NURO X Series’ robot performing the remarkably delicate task of threading a needle.
This interactive program allowed attendees to witness, and even participate in, the challenge of threading a 0.5mm needle hole in real time. The demonstration leveraged precision servo control technology and the innovative NAU ELE gripper, showcasing the potential of robotics to tackle intricate tasks. Participants who successfully guided the robot were rewarded with a set of pigtails,adding a playful element to the educational experience.
The Versatility of the NAU ELE Gripper
the multi-gripper, branded as the NAU ELE Gripper, represents a meaningful leap forward in robotic manipulation. Inspired by the dexterity of an elephant’s trunk, this technology is capable of handling objects of vastly different sizes and shapes – from heavy dumbbells to delicate needles – with a single tool. This versatility has broad implications for industries ranging from manufacturing to healthcare.
Expanding Horizons and Future Growth
Now Robotics previously unveiled its NURO X series, incorporating AI-based image analysis technology, at the 2025 APEC Korea SOM3 integrated exhibition in August. The company develops and manufactures a diverse portfolio of industrial robots, including orthogonal robots, scara robots, and driving logistics robots.
Following a recent listing on the KOSDAQ stock exchange, Now Robotics is actively investing in expanding its production infrastructure and accelerating the growth of new products. “This Seoul AI Robot Show is a symbolic place where robot technology meets daily life,” stated CEO Lee Jong-ju. “We will continue to grow into a global robot company by presenting technology that citizens can experience.”
