San Juan, Puerto Rico, January 26, 2024 – “Today Puerto Rico” is welcoming a familiar face to its team as the morning show navigates recent changes, and it’s a name well-known for transforming appearances: Dr. Guillermo Colón, affectionately dubbed the “doctor of universal faces,” is joining the program as a collaborator.
A New Voice in Health and Wellness
The popular Telemundo program is adding a medical expert to its lineup, offering viewers practical advice on well-being every Tuesday.
According to a press release, Dr. Colón will contribute to the segment “Let’s talk about health,” providing viewers with useful and actionable information on health, prevention, and improving their quality of life.
“I feel honored to be able to bring health messages that positively impact the lives of our people. Education is one of the most powerful tools to prevent and live better,” Dr. Colón stated. His practice, “Health & Aesthetic Clinic,” is located in the Cupey Professional Mall.
Dr. Colón’s expertise extends beyond primary medicine to the field of aesthetics, where he treats a diverse clientele including everyday patients, public figures, and beauty queens. He has worked with Karla Guilfú, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023; Cristina Ramos, Miss Grand Puerto Rico 2023; and Kiaraliz Ortega, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2018, earning him the moniker “the doctor of universal faces.”
The addition of Dr. Colón follows the recent departures of presenters Jacky Fontánez and Carlos McConnie, as well as kitchen expert chef Marilyn, all part of a restructuring of operations planned for 2026.
