The mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, joined officials and sports leaders at the Teodosio y Tomás Football Field (Loluba) on January 26 to support the sixth day of the Inclusive Andalusian League, demonstrating a commitment to accessible sports opportunities for all residents.
Inclusive League Draws Support from City Officials and Federation Presidents

Accompanying Mayor Landaluce were Deputy Mayor for Sports, Jorge Juliá, and Coordination delegate, Vicente Palomares. The event also drew the presence of key figures from the regional football community, including Royal Andalusian Football Federation President Pedro Curtido, Provincial Federation President josé Antonio Neva, and Algeciras Grassroots Football Association President Víctor tamayo. Representing the organizing bodies were Apadis-Loluba Manager maría del Carmen Portillo and Loluba CF President Antonio Martínez.
Matches began at 9:00 AM, featuring teams from throughout the province.
During a break in the competition, Antonio Martínez of Loluba CF presented Mayor Landaluce with a club t-shirt, acknowledging the City Council’s continued support of the club’s initiatives.
“Supporting grassroots and adapted sports is a priority,” Landaluce stated, “to achieve objectives that go far beyond merely sports, such as instilling values such as solidarity or camaraderie through team sports.” He also highlighted the council’s efforts to enhance sports infrastructure, specifically mentioning the city-wide conversion to artificial grass, including the Teodosio and Tomás field which hosted the competition.
The sixth day of the Inclusive Andalusian League concluded with a renewed commitment from the Algeciras City Council to support adapted sports. The league, organized by Apadis and Loluba CF, brought together teams from across the province for a full day of competition, beginning at 9:00 AM. The event served as a platform to showcase the importance of inclusivity in sports and the positive impact it has on the community.
