Loutsa, Greece – A 15-year-old boy died and two other teenagers were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Dimokratis and Sotiros streets Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The accident occurred after a 15-year-old driver lost control of a vehicle, resulting in a fatal collision with a tree.

Reports indicate the vehicle belonged to the father of one of the teens, and the driver allegedly took the keys and left with his friends without permission. The circumstances surrounding the unauthorized use of the vehicle are under investigation.

The Moments Before Impact

Security camera footage captured the vehicle moments before the crash. The video shows the driver appearing to lose control, with the car disappearing from view just seconds before the collision.

The scene of the accident is described as devastating. The impact was so severe that a large portion of the tree trunk was detached, and debris from the vehicle was scattered across the road. Skid marks indicate the car was traveling at an uncontrolled speed before hitting the tree.

Eyewitness Accounts

Residents who heard the crash rushed to the scene and immediately contacted police, fire services, and emergency medical personnel. The driver was reportedly distraught, repeatedly shouting, “What did I do? What did I do?” according to one of the first responders.

Another witness stated, “They passed in front of us at 120 kilometers, that’s how fast they were going. And on a dirt road too.” A resident who witnessed the immediate aftermath described seeing one of the teens ejected from the vehicle, shaking himself before getting out.
