It’s been over a year now since we got our last glimpse of the Vice City map, with a trailer dropping in May 2025, so even just a few seconds of the most-anticipated game is enough to send the internet into a frenzy, with the fervour on display indicative of the impact GTA 6 is having on other developers.
The new video, viewable at the top of this page, is an aerial shot showing us much of the waterfront of Vice City, with downtown and its oodles of skyscrapers visible as well as the port, all set against a beautiful sunset, with a distinctly Vice City-purple gradient.
Helicopters whizz by, and the traffic at ground level looks dense, giving the impression of a bustling city full of life, and one that never sleeps.

Ferries and boats make their way through the waterways, too, leaving realistic wakes as they cut through the waves. There is an unprecedented level of detail for a GTA game on display, with buildings using parallax interiors to give a sense of depth and help sell the illusion that there are indeed interiors, rather than just appearing as impenetrable blocks as they have in series past. No doubt, many buildings will have enterable interiors.
You can even make out some people hanging out by some tennis courts towards the end of the clip. For now, they are safe from us racing through the city wreaking havoc.
It all lends credence to the rumours that the GTA 6 installation size is going to be gargantuan. Good thing we’re not undergoing any sort of memory pricing crisis affecting storage prices…

One of the most impressive aspects of the trailer is the lighting in general, with thousands of different light sources present and affecting the scene, giving it a very lifelike and grounded appearance.
Just this one scene looks as if it has more detail packed into it than the entirety of Los Santos in GTA 5. We already knew this, as we have already compared the graphics between GTA 5 and GTA 6, but it’s still absolutely mindboggling to see it in action.
What’s more, there are urban areas beyond Vice City to explore, such as Port Gellhorn and Leonida Keys, not to mention the wide expanses of countryside found in Mount Kalaga and Grass Rivers.
Though there is no announcement date, we can’t wait to see what GTA 6 will look like on PC.
But, with a date for pre-orders now set in stone, we can’t help but suspect that GTA 6 Trailer 3 is just around the corner, where we’ll be treated to a much more in-depth look at the game.
