lewis Hamilton Conquers New Challenge: Horseback Riding Despite Allergy
A surprising new obstacle has emerged for Formula 1 icon Lewis Hamilton: an allergy to horses. The seven-time world champion, known for overcoming adversity throughout his illustrious career, recently embraced a “truly special moment” by experiencing horseback riding for the first time in Texas, coinciding with the launch of his Plus 44 brand’s Rodeo collection.
The unexpected challenge added a unique layer to Hamilton’s trip to the United States, where he competed in the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) last weekend, finishing fourth in both the sprint and main races. The experience, held at Bridges Ranch, proved particularly meaningful given his pre-existing allergy.
Hamilton shared images of his equestrian debut on social media, sparking curiosity about how he managed his allergy during the experience. He playfully suggested a combination of over-the-counter medication, limited exposure, and the power of positive thinking.
“My first horseback riding experience, and it definitely won’t be my last,” Hamilton posted on Instagram. “Allergies had prevented me from fully enjoying this moment, making it even more special.”
The british driver emphasized the importance of the experience in relation to his fashion brand. “This collection [Plus 44] Its definitely my favorite and I wanted to do it justice,” he stated. He extended gratitude to Bridges Ranch in Austin, Texas, for providing “an amazing atmosphere, the breathtaking nature and for Jack, the horse.”
Hamilton’s schedule remains packed as he prepares for the upcoming Grand Prix in Mexico City. This latest venture demonstrates the champion’s continued willingness to embrace new challenges, both on and off the racetrack, and to connect his passions with his entrepreneurial endeavors.
