Hostage Release from Gaza Expected to Begin Monday, Amid Logistical Uncertainty

The release of hostages held in Gaza is anticipated to commence on Monday morning, according to both hamas and Israeli officials, though some ambiguity persists regarding the precise timing of the operation.

Under the terms of the ceasefire agreement finalized on thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were allotted 24 hours to complete an initial withdrawal within Gaza.Following this withdrawal, Hamas was granted a 72-hour window to release 48 hostages, with approximately 20 believed to still be alive.
